If the oxidation is mild, I would use PlastX from Meguires. It is specifically designed for plastic and it works great! I know that some people use compounds. They do work but use the finest cut available. I have used PlastX with my Porter/Cable buffer and my headlight lenses are crystal clear and extremely smooth!
